The photo shown above is our sample photo when the plant is blooming. The plant is grown by us at lowland in Malaysia. The flower is in a dark colour- black maroon. In the cooler environment, the colour of flowers can be black. It is normal that the leaves will drop when it is blooming.
Description:
* Plant with No flower OR with Flower Spike
(Note: Plant with flower spike is with no leaves. For this catasetum, it is common that it flowering after the leaves dropped)
* Mature and well-rooted.
* 4-inch pot
* For plants purchased from us, please water once every 2 days and place in an area with half sunlight (indirect sunlight). If hot weather / during the monsoon season, please water accordingly.
* Once the plants have flowered, water can be reduced or stopped completely (when all the leaves drop and leave the bulb alone, it is common for catasetum orchid plants) until new growth develops enough to produce new roots.
